About This Website
Renewable electricity is becoming a larger part of electricity production in the United States, but states are not changing at the same rate. This website compares non-hydroelectric renewable electricity generation in 20 selected states between 2023 and 2024.
The goal is to help users compare both total electricity generation and annual percentage growth. A state with the largest total does not always have the fastest growth rate, so both measurements are useful.

Different Measures
Total production shows the scale of a state's renewable industry, while percentage change shows how quickly it is growing.
